Privacy statement Traffic & More Beheer B.V. for the use of the STAN app (Android & iOS)
Traffic & More Beheer B.V., hereinafter described as Traffic & More, collects and processes data from the users of its app, STAN. By using the STAN app, Traffic & More aims to permanently draw attention to, maintain and continually improve safety during road works both within and outside its own organization. By means of this statement, Traffic & More would like to inform you how the data provided and/or to be provided is handled.
Why and what information does Traffic & More collect?
Traffic & More collects and processes personal data of users of the STAN app for the following purposes. To use the application, the user has two options to log in, the extent of the personal data collected differs per option.
1. Inloggen met account
If you use an account, you provide personal data yourself to or through the organization to which you are affiliated.
2. Log in with project code
All personal data are processed in the context of our services. It is of legitimate interest and necessary to process data for the execution of the contract with you or your organization to promote your safety and that of others during road works. Creating a safe working environment is part of proper execution of the employment contract. Location data is vital in the event of an emergency. The STAN app provides the user with up-to-date safety information and safety instructions, in order to increase the safety of those present in and around the work area and to prevent accidents.
The data mentioned above is stored and processed via a secure connection in a database server within the EU. Traffic & More processes the data from the app to perform statistical analyzes and create management reports. Based on these analyzes and reports, decisions are made, products and services are evaluated and it is determined whether projects are effective. User data is used for this at an aggregated level. Aggregated means that the data does not contain information about individual users, but only information about certain groups.
Traffic & More will only share (personal) data with third parties for a number of purposes. This concerns third parties who make the use of the app (technically) possible and have a supporting role, so that Traffic & More can meet its obligations regarding its services. These are carefully selected third parties within the EU, whose processing of (personal) data is processed in accordance with legal provisions and through contractual agreements that comply with the principles of this statement.

- You (when requesting access to data obtained from you)
- Subsidiaries of Traffic & More
- Providers of administrative/identities/certificates software
Traffic & More may also share (personal) data to respond to lawful or judicial requests based on legislation or regulations.
Traffic & More stores the data to the extent necessary for the realization of the purposes/projects for which user data is processed. In the case of location data, the retention period is two months. The final retention period varies per type of personal data. After the retention period, your personal data will be anonymized or deleted.
Traffic & More ensures appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against, among other things, loss, destruction or damage, unauthorized access or any other form of unlawful processing of your personal data. Traffic & More does this, among other things, by taking physical and organizational measures for access security and shielding with authorization management so that data cannot be viewed by all Traffic & More employees or third parties. But this also includes keeping software up to date and regularly testing our security measures.
In principle, you have the right to submit a request to Traffic & More to:
Traffic & More will provide you with information about the actions that Traffic & More has taken in response to the request as soon as possible, but in any case within one month of receiving your request. This period can be extended by two months due to the complexity and/or number of requests that Traffic & More receives. You will be informed about this. Requests must be submitted by registered letter or by email to privacy@trafficandmore.nl.
In the event that your request has been wrongly rejected or has not been sufficiently fulfilled, you can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
This privacy statement will be updated periodically. The date stated at the bottom of the privacy statement indicates when the privacy statement was last updated. If significant changes are made to, for example, the way your personal data is used, Traffic & More will inform you about these changes by means of a notification in the STAN app. You will always find the most recent privacy statement in the STAN app. For questions, comments or complaints regarding the collection or processing of your (personal) data, you can contact Traffic & More via the email address privacy@trafficandmore.nl.
